2. Quotations and Estimates
All quotations and estimates are provided in good faith based on the information available at the time of assessment. Quotes are valid for 30 days unless otherwise stated. If additional damage or issues are discovered during the repair process, we will notify you and provide a revised quote before proceeding with additional work. Final costs may vary from the original estimate if unforeseen repairs are necessary.
3. Booking and Appointments
- •3.1 Booking Confirmation: A booking is confirmed once you receive written or verbal confirmation from us.
- •3.2 Vehicle Drop-Off: You must deliver your vehicle to our facility at the agreed time. Late arrivals may result in rescheduling.
- •3.3 Delays: While we strive to complete repairs within the estimated timeframe, delays may occur due to parts availability, unforeseen damage, or other circumstances beyond our control. We will keep you informed of any delays.
- •3.4 Cancellations: You may cancel or reschedule your appointment with at least 24 hours' notice. Cancellations with less than 24 hours' notice may be subject to a cancellation fee.
4. Payment Terms
- •4.1 Payment Methods: We accept cash, debit/credit cards, and bank transfers. Payment is due upon completion of repairs unless alternative arrangements have been agreed in writing.
- •4.2 Insurance Claims: If your repair is covered by insurance, we will bill your insurer directly (subject to approval). You remain responsible for any excess, non-covered costs, or shortfalls in insurance payment.
- •4.3 Late Payment: If payment is not received within 14 days of invoice date, we reserve the right to charge interest at a rate of 8% above the Bank of England base rate and pursue recovery through legal means.
- •4.4 Lien Rights: We reserve the right to retain your vehicle until all outstanding payments have been made in full.
5. Customer Responsibilities
As a customer, you agree to:
- •Provide accurate information about your vehicle and the damage
- •Remove all personal belongings from your vehicle before drop-off (we are not liable for lost or stolen items)
- •Inform us of any pre-existing damage or mechanical issues
- •Authorise us to perform the agreed repairs
- •Collect your vehicle within 7 days of completion notification (storage fees may apply after this period)
- •Ensure your vehicle is roadworthy and legal to drive when dropping off and collecting
6. Warranties and Guarantees
- ✓6.1 Workmanship Warranty: We guarantee our workmanship for 12 months from the date of completion. If defects in our work are identified within this period, we will rectify them free of charge.
- ✓6.2 Parts Warranty: Parts are covered by the manufacturer's warranty. We will assist with warranty claims where applicable.
- •6.3 Exclusions: Our warranty does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, normal wear and tear, or repairs performed by third parties after our work is completed.
